Six players are in contention for Nigeria premier league football player of the month award for December.
According to a report from the Daily Post, 6 players have been nominated by the LMC for the player of the month of December.

The players who are on the list are Gombe United player Ahmed Jimoh, Jimoh has been in an impressive form for the Savannah Scorpion last month which makes him a strong candidate for the award.
Second player on the list is Sampson Obi , the forward has been in an impressive form last month which saw him score four goals for Abia Warriors which make him one of the favorites to win the gong.
Third on the list is Jide Fatokun, Remo stars midfielder Fatokun has been one of the best midfielders in the league this season which help Remo Star remain in contention to win the Nigeria premier League Championship this season.
Number four on the list is Albert Hilary, the forward who has contributed immensely for Plateau United with his performance for the month of December being noticed.
The fifth nominee for Nigeria premier league player of the month is Yusuf Abdullahi, the Kano Pillar forward scored all five goals in their impressive 5-2 win at home against Gombe United, and his form for the past month doesn't go unnoticed as he got this nomination as a reward.
The Sixth player on the list is Veteran forward Sikiru Alimi, the Remo stars forward continued his impressive goal scoring feet as he scored goal number 11 for the season.
