Roony Bardghji moved to Sweden at the age of seven in 2012, he joined Kallinge SK youth team followed by a move to Rödeby AIF and Malmö FF where he continued his development within their youth rank.
Roony Bardghji moved from Malmö to Copenhagen in 2020 but had to wait till November 2021 before he made his senior debut for the Danish club against BardGF in a Superliga match becoming the youngest player ever to play for the club at just 16 years and 6 days, a record which was previously held by Kenneth Zohore.
